Moms! Please keep all your children away from ANYONE who has diarrhea! It could be the rotavirus! My son is getting IV fluids because he is dehydrated from all the throwing up and diarrhea he's had! If your baby is already experiencing these symptoms take him to his pediatrician and ask for IV fluids! I took my son to the ER yesterday and they said he was just "fine" with no dehydration.... later that night he continued to throw up and and have diarrhea. He hasn't peed since yesterday, so I made the soonest appointment with the pediatrician and he was put on IV fluids. We've been here for 2 hours on IV and he still hasn't peed! Follow your gut! You know what your baby needs even if you're not a doctor. Always ask for second opinions!
