It might be best to wait since your pretty close to the end. It takes 6 months of working at a job to qualify for Family Medical Leave. Since you wouldn't be able to work that long before birth, the are not obligated to hold your job for you. I guess it just depends if you plan on returning to the job.

Мама двоих (1 год, 1 год), ждёт третьего
If you're already 30 weeks pregnant I would just wait until you're healed up from giving birth. A lot of jobs won't hire anyone who is close to giving birth because they will have to be on maternity leave and find someone new to cover for you. And a lot of other jobs, if they do hire you, will have to technically fire you since you haven't been at the job over 12 months. But there are a few jobs that aren't like that. I was 35 weeks when my water broke so I technically worked till I popped and still got "fired" becuz I had only worked there for six months.

Мама дочки (5 лет), беременна (37 нед.)
@dess0712, I would wait till after baby. I am working up till Delivery and I am 36 weeks today and I am putting much only lasting half days. I am a preschool teacher so it's lots of up and down. Takes a lot out of me mentally and physically! By 32 weeks I was doing non stress tests twice a week as well as a growth Scan every two weeks so being flexible with doctors visits towards the end is important because really anything could happen! Good luck!
