I feel like if your income hasn't changed and you're claiming the same dependents, why should we have to wait so long?

Has anybody successfully not be able to give there seconds or third child like cookies fast food etc .
After seeing the effect after giving it to your your first children ?
For example: my son only drink chocolate milk :( he will drink white milk and cereal but never by it self ) with my daughter I’m trying to not give her NONE .
My son loves cookies , I’m trying to not give my daughter none !!
