So does anyone else not celebrate Valentine's Day with their hubby/boyfriend? We have been married almost 13 years and both have gotten to the point where we are like, don't bother, just save the money lol.

@jacqui2012.jl, I totally understand. We missed quite a few Valentines days when my hubby was active duty. As much as we both miss him being in, I'm glad he didn't re-up.
We have never done valentines day in the 4 years we've been together. He was always deployed or training around that time. And i personally think its over commercialized and created this terrible expectation of how to be a good significant other.
@lizibear84, we pretty much do too, minus the fire. I wish we had a fireplace! I think my hubby loves that I'm like, babe, skip the chocolates and flowers, just grab some steaks! 😋
We just make a nice dinner at home and light a fire.
@b3autifulm3ss, we have been there for a while now. I just hate the weird looks I get when people ask what I got for vday and I say nothing lol
