If I want my baby to sleep through the night when should I start keeping her up cus she'll sleep through the day & wake up a couple of times but be more awake at night
I wanted this too! However, my pediatrician told me that keeping them up during the day that young makes it worse at night because they are too tired and overstimulated. I found this out the hard way after I tried keeping her up a couple times. My daughter started sleeping through the night at 5 weeks, but I don't keep her up. I let her sleep when she wants, and she made the change I her own. She goes down around 10-11, but not without a fight usually takes me an hour to get her down, but she stays asleep until I wake her up around 6-7 because my breasts hurt too much and I need to feed. Trust me it will happen 😊
@andrewsmommy yeah eventually she falls asleep & we cosleep so I wake up often & offer my breast or wake her up a bit so she'll take it
@qtp612 I was asking because everyone tells me to keep her up & I wasn't sure cus I felt bad if I had to wake her up but yeah she'll sleep alot all during the day & around 12 or 1 is where she gets a bit fussy cus that's when she's both tired & hungry
