I Really Want To Know more about the epidural shot ?Some people tell me it hurt and you still feel…

I felt more pressure than I did pain. But I had to get mine done 3 times in a row and they sat there and ripped off all the tape that covered my whole back 3 times and that may have hurt more than the actual epidural. You're in so much pain by that point you don't even care

I didn't find that it hurt. It was more uncomfortable because I was hunched over during a contraction and I wanted to lay down lol its not a shot though, it's a line they put into your back and it has a constant drip of medicine go through. Mine was placed too high so I didn't feel any contractions at all which was fantastic, but once it came to pushing I could feel the whole thing. But I was up and walking around an hour after I had my son, the nurse removed the line and it hasn't bothered me since.

So glad I decided to do it. I got to enjoy the end of labor and I had no pain. I felt really good lol

I got mine. Felt like someone was pushing on your back in a certain spot. Didn't feel pain but mine didn't work lol

it's okay cause some people have different experience getting it..people told me so many stories about what would happen and how things would be and it wasn't nothing like that....my experience when I arrived to the hospital in L&D the anesthesiologist was called to come give me the epidural in my back first time I can't moved but the lady talked me through it and said I couldn't move are I will be paralyzed so I bend like I was trying to roll over my baby as they say they stuck a small needle in my spinal cord they put stuff on your back before that doe so you really don't feel it and after that they laid me down and gave me my button to push whenever I felt pain that's were the medicine come from I hit that button maybe two times before they roll my bed into the delivery room I even went to sleep cause after that medicine you going be numb from your waist down and your legs and butt going feel like jelly lol the best part its not going take as long...but it's nothing to worry about and I don't go off what I hear anymore I just experience for myself...good luck hun

I had one with both of mine and I am so glad I did. I got to get some sleep and rest before time to push. I have had people tell me they have had back problems from but I have not. I felt the pain of contraction because I had to be induced with my daughter and I am just so glad I could get my epidural. If you have a low pain tolerance I would get one.

They numbed my back before they put the needle in it just was a small ass pinch then I can feel something going thru my bad but no pain. N my epidural worked as soon as they put it in. They did a test dose to even make sure it was ok. And this time around I plan on getting it too
