Kay moms I have a few questions as I'm 35 weeks today getting closer to labor. Didn't get to do much to help with the pain because I got the epidural too early so I sat in bed the whole labor time. This time I want to try and cope with the pain as much as I can.. Even though its possible I'll be getting a C Section, I would like to know these in case I don't.
1. Any moms spend time in the tub and still have enough time to get an epidural after?
2. Will the nurses let you walk even with an IV and the temporary pain medicine in the IV?
3. How soon did your second baby come? This is my second child.
4. How well did the exercise ball help if you used one?

I'm a FTM but my friend just had her second so I'll use her as an example as well. My labor was so short I didn't even need the tub/walk around. The exercise ball helps immensely for me.
Second babies don't always come quicker too. My friend (her second) was 2 weeks overdue and she ended up getting induced.
Hopefully that's not the case for you but you can't always bank on the fact that the 2nd will be easier/come early.

with my daughter i stayed in the shower for about 2 hours with warm water hutting my belly and it helped so much i went the first 10 hours with out the epidural then i just had to get it my labor was 16 hours with her . with my son he came super fast my labor started ant 3:00pm very intense full force contractions got to the hospital @ 3:30 and my son was born @6:29pm so 3hours of labor and no epidural

@mirandachristianhoward 😫😫 thats what im worried about. Not being able to get the epidural on time if needed.

yeah i wanted to get it but due to the hospital being over packed with 4 c sections i couldnt get it by the time it was my turn to have the epidural i was already at a 10 and had to start pushing😢😣 it hurt so bad i remember every moment of it and to be honest that is what is scaring me with this baby knowing she is my 3rd and dr said she is so low she will come fast😥 i dont think ill be able to get it again
