28 year old working mom and happy wife to my hubby for 3 years. FTM with two fur babies. Our Vinny came 3 weeks early at 7 lbs 1 oz and 19.5 in long. Looking for a good community for suggestions/advice and possibly to make some new local mommy friends!

1. Was your pregnancy planned? Yes

2. Were you married? Yes.

3. What was your reaction to finding out you were pregnant? I was happy but nauseous at the same time. Later at night panicked pretty bad!

4. Were you induced? Nope!

5. How old were you? 28

7. How did you find out? I was actually sick in the hospital and found out after only trying for 3 weeks! We were told it would take months!

My poor guy has croup at 3 1/2 months old. Really kicked his butt today.. very lethargic and just not himself. Can't wait for this to be over and him feeling better! 😭

So Vinny did well on his first week of daycare but now is coughing and wheezing. 😩
Every FTMs fear. I'm trying not to overreact but I just want to scoop him up and take him to the ER. So far the humidifier is helping but he's very tired and just seems to want to sleep more.

Any moms out there have suggestions to help him feel better??

Counting down until I can pick up my LO from daycare. It's only the 2nd day and it's killing me!!

Getting ready for work/first day at daycare and I hear LO in his crib laughing instead of sleeping. Except it's really not a "laugh" yet more of breathing in very loudly. 😂
Trying not to bust out laughing so he will go back to bed!

Trying my best to enjoy today but dreading tomorrow as it's LO's first day at daycare and being away from mommy. This is already too hard and it hasn't even begun!!

A little vent here:
My mother/step father are alcoholics. I love them but obviously keep a close eye when they are holding/playing with my son. Last night, my step dad was asking how I would feel if they took him on vacation (without me or my husband). I didn't understand this request. I told him no. Then he got very upset that I would deprive him of a family vacation with my 3 month old son and started demanding reasons why not. Anybody else miss their bumps??
I was going thru photos and reminiscing. This was the day before I delivered at 37 weeks. I miss the kicks and hiccups from my LO. 💙
