Oh my gosh! Just finished chasing my little man around outside after we walked Dad out. Never had to use one on my daughter but thinking one of those cutsie backpack baby leashes (not sure what they're actually called lol) may not be a bad idea. Thoughts on those? Do they actually work?

honestly before i was a mom i thought like that too, i would think "why do they have their kids on a leash ? 😒😒 theyre not dogs" but now i understand why some parents do it.

Yeah they were popular where I live when they came out then moms were like my kid figured out how to unhook the clip and would run away lmao i think their dumb tbh. Kids have legs to run lol i think they could still get kidnapped with them. The leash hooks onto the backpack so say someone randomly thinks its okay to rub your childs back and slowly unhooks it? Its thats easy. Idk im just thinking here lol.

@_maria, that's why I was originally thinking about it. I'll have to look more closely at them. I've just seen people use them and think they're so cute! Plus I figured for active babies, like this little man, it would give them a sense of freedom while keeping them close versus restraining them in a stroller. But @andrewsmommy brought up a good point about him learning to wiggle out of it sooner or later but I've never looked very closely at them so I'm definitely gonna have to do some researching into them! 🤔

i dont see anything wrong with them when you use them in public in a crowded place. child abductions happen all the time in front of our eyes & kids are really curious & dont know how bad & evil some ppl are, some kids trust almost anyone. if you think it could be useful for you, why not give it a try?

@andrewsmommy, good point! He's just so wild, almost like a little pet! Lol but good point! He probably will just end up wiggling out of it sooner than later anyway. I might stick to letting him be wild! 👹💙

I wouldn't get one for my child. You have to let them be free and run around. They aren't pets. Thats what they do. At some point im sure they'll know how to take it off too lol
