how do you mommies care for your babies belly button after the cord falls off . doctor said my princess belly button was oozing alil she put some stuff on it to help it heal faster and told me to call her in 3 days so she can take a look at it again . but in the mean time how do i care for it ? its back to being crusty again .do i just use a qtip and water or that and peroxide or what ? i know she said no baths for her until it heals .

I just wiped it with an alcohol pad every diaper change. it healed fine. once the cord fell off iy oozed an bled a little for a week then was fine

I just kept it clean and dry swabbed with q tips after each diaper change. Once it becomes crusty, it'll fall off on its own as she moves.

her cord already fell off and the doc said its oozing alil she put medicine on it and told me to not give her any baths for at least 3 days so it can heal . she said still continue to clean it everyday but idk what to use on it to help it heal faster i just put perioxide on a qtip early

Okay well I have to take her back in 3 days to see if she needs another treatment so il ask then if it's not all cleared up by then
