Finally! Someone else sees what I see with my son. I know something isn't right and have been saying it since day one. Everyone else says he's just lazy and he'll walk when he is ready. You have to actually pay attention to all the details to see that there is something prohibiting him from walking/ pulling up/ crawling correctly/ and standing for periods of time. His left hip is clearly not fitting into the socket right and he acts as if its painful even. His therapists have noticed these same things and confirmed all of my feelings about the situation because they see what I see. I hope we get his hip ultrasounds soon. 😔

Same thing happened to me when I was 1. My parents said I started to walk early but I was walking funny. Never cried or anything just had a limp. Took me in and found out my right hip wasn't in the socket. Had to do a big surgery and be in a very hard cast. Made it hard for them to change my diaper and sit in a stroller. To this day its not fully in the socket and im 20.

But he would actually show one sign of pain. Lay him on his back and bend his legs into his belly. If he cries or resist then yeah something is probably wrong. If not then he may just not be ready. Most babies dont walk at 1.

It's not just the walking. He's been in PT since he was 10 months old because he doesn't use his left leg at all for weight bearing. It seems as if it has gotten worse too. His PT doctors said the same thing. I personally think it's a subluxation. I know it can't be fully dislocated, at least I hope it hasn't gotten to that point. But as I've been reading up on it, it's definitely necessary to get this checked out because it's best to get a diagnosis under 6 months of age and he's one. The longer it goes without treatment the less success of treatments and more invasive treatments become. @andrewsmommy,

He cries a lot of the time when we stand him up holding onto something and he tries to come get me, he puts all of his weight on his right leg and will drag his left or roll his foot to the side so he doesn't have to put pressure on it. @andrewsmommy, I know something isn't right.

@mcrowell0970 oh no!! That's horrible!! @babyjjsmommy yeah mama it could of been the way they pulled him also. Im not sure what mine came from exactly my mom doesnt either.
