Any other mom's that have ADHD children? We just found out our oldest has it, and we are planning to try behavioral techniques versus medication. I would love some tips!
@chaaaachix, our pediatrician said it's hard to diagnose before age 5 or 6 since kids younger than that have similar behaviors anyway. @sierravictorias, thank you for sharing, I appreciate the encouragement. And @jessyleigh, that's an awesome idea! Thanks!!
Her him a fidget toy. Something his school will allow his to play with. That works for my cousin. She just plays with it under her desk and no one pays any attention to it and school knows not to take it awake and they also got her like a huge rubber band that wraps around the desk legs and the plays with it with her feet. She has been excelling since
Growing up, my parents would tell my siblings without their medication they were sick... breaks my heart because my sister and brother are both severly depressed and dont think they could function without big pharma. They are perfectly fine people, i just always thought the two are related. My parents did not try other techniques though. Stay strong. ♡
I've wondered if my daughter might have it.. Yeah, she's almost 2, but her dad has it.. I tried researching, but I always end up so confused.. How can I even tell?
