Making pasta for dinner, trying to spend as much time as possible with my SO. He works too much, overnights without him are no fun. Anyone else have a SO who works overnights? Do you ever get used to sleeping alone?

My hub did & it was never easy but i had my princess to cuddle with not the same but i didnt feel as alone. Now he works from 9:30 am to 12 at night n i will b sleeping when he gets here at least before i could cuddle w him during the day..

My SO used to work the night shift too. So hard sleeping without him i actually ended up switching my sleep schedule so that i could sleep with him during the day. @jhalsted1995 maybe he can get on a day shift soon

@jcbaby, we did the same thing too when my husband did overnight!! We complete shifted our schedules around to follow his because it was rough explaining to my daughter who was 2 at the time that she had to play quiet because daddy was sleeping. @jhalsted1995, you do what you think is best, even if it's the wacky schedule and people call y'all crazy lol you know what works best for your family.
