Honestly, I bled SO much that I just wore depends! Sounds gross... I know. But I kept leaking out the sides of my pads and I tried every brand and the thickest ones but that after birth blood is no joke. Depends were so much easier and I never leaked! I used them until my bleeding slowed down then I went back to regular pads

Stay away from Always brand. I got a bacterial and yeast infection from them. My doc guessed which brand I was using before I even told her. She said she gets women in all the time with either or both infections from that brand. She said it must be a chemical they use. I've never had an infection down there let alone two different types and it was awful. It was worse than recovery to me.

I used U Kotex. They have long and regular. I liked that they were thin so I didn't feel like I was wearing a diaper. I will tell you, I honestly used Depends for the first week PP. easier than messing with the mesh panties and thick pads you need. Plus, you'll most likely have crazy incontinence for the first week too. Just until everything kind of resets itself. Your bathroom routine gets very layered PP. the depends took a step out of the process for me. Sounds silly but I swear it was the best thing and I'll use them again for the next kiddo.
