Weight Gain What week are you and how much weight have you gained so far?
I'm 12 weeks and my doctor said I should have gained 10 pounds by now and I've gained 1. Anyone else have problems with gaining weight in the beginning?
Ok so not using actual numbers.. But everyone knows I'm over weight since having my girls. It's no secret. BUT i was talking with my hubby last night and idk how we got to this but he said something like (not using actual numbers) no one should weigh 800lbs, they should take care of themselves. And i said so what if someone weighs 800lbs? He said no one should weigh that, they should be healthier. I said well i almost weigh 800! I'm in the 790s. And I'm healthy. I may be overweight but i don't have any diseases, no high cholesterol, no high blood pressure, i don't have a bad heart, lungs, or anything else. So I'm healthy I'm just over weight. So then we argued about him having an issue with my weight.. Am i wrong in this? Because it really hurt my feelings.. I've tried sooo many different things to lose weight but having hypothyroidism makes you gain/hard to lose. And my medications for depression and anxiety cause you to gain also.. So it's very hard to lose weight.. But i didn't even know he had an issue with my weight until last night..
Real Talk: Should you or should you not teach your kids how to say I Love You! I never said it until I was in my 20's and that's only cause I meant it. What do you guys think?
If you are a MOM, you should not still be acting MESSY.🙄🙄

My doctor says the amount you're "supposed" to gain depends.. if you're underweight, "normal" weight or over weight before you got pregnant.. umm i still went over the recommend weight lol

@mommy.to.sterling, really?? My pre weight was 150 and I'm 5'4' and they keep asking like what I eat and how often and to watch my weight and stuff but like?? 15 pound to gain the entire pregnancy? Like uh seems a little unrealistic

I'm 5'2, was around 120 at the start and around 150 now with three months to go. My dr said nothing, my step mom is overly concerned but everyone else says I'm all baby and look healthy. Online you can get guidelines based on previous weight and height, but muscle weighs more than fat so it's still an approximation. I think as long as you get the basic food groups and aren't just sitting all day just take it in stride.

Yeah, I'm 16 weeks and I've only gained 2 pounds and they're like freaking out about it. I mean idk what else I could do! Lol. I exercise everyday. I eat fruits and vegetables all day. I eat fish and chicken every now and then. They're making me drink 2 gallons of water a day... like idk but this seems excessive. I'm not high risk and I'm not diabetic and everything with baby is great! So idk.

If you're overweight it's like 15lb. But average bmi is 25-39 according to my dr. I gained like nothing the first four months. And then 20 lb over 3 months. everyone is different.
