I see alot of you mommies on here who have been able to breastfeed the whole year or even longer. How did you guys cope…

You should get a pump so you can pump instead of putting the baby on your breast ! it makes it easier and its still breast milk even though your baby isn't on the boob!! That's what I did ! when my daughter was born I only breast fed her on the boob for about 3 weeks and my nipples hurt so bad ! So I decided to get a pump She is now 3 months and I always pump milk for her and I only put her on the boob maybe once or twice a day:)

@madismommy I had one and it did no good. Started bleeding again and wasn't getting my milk out. Just like @cubanese said its not easier than just putting baby on your boob. It works for some people and eventually didnt help me

@cubanese he latched on very good at the hospital but at 3 weeks he always already cluster feeding and yeah I believe he wasnt latching right cause I would honestly get so scared to latch him on my mom or babydaddy wouls have to push him on my boob because I would back away. I would cry everytime he ate.

@cubanese they were no help tbh. No one was. Not even wic. They all kept telling me to just deal with it

I used a nipped shield for a while bc of the soreness

And I breast feed for 15 months. I wouldn't have made it if I didn't use the nipple shield for almost 4 months bc the pain was so bad like you said.
