Lots of praise helps as well, balloons, stickers, candy anything lol..

My daughter who is 3 has been "potty trained" for 3 mos. My strategy with both kids were staying home all weekend leaving underwear or nakedness is fine too and just taking them every 30 min at first then every hour. One day they just got it and started telling me when they had to go. I never used pull-ups I don't believe they serve a different purpose than diapers. The main thing I learned was patience, and not going back to diapers!

I believe in the saying "they will do it when they r ready". My son was nearly 4 before he got potty trained although he has autism, we got through it!

My daugjter is autistic and potty training her was the hardest thing to do. She is 5 and she was getting potty trained since she was 2 1/2 . i just made her sit down every 30 minutes or so and if it helps put the potty in the room so they can watch movies or give them a toy or a snack while they wait. My daughter now does it all by herself without me telling her to go. She still has accidents at night but its a learning process

Put the potty across from yours and sit on yours and show him that youre going.

I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child.
