Mommas help please...so my Squish has been diagnosed with a lip tie. They noticed it at her 1 year appt and she saw a dentist for it. They said it might correct itself. Question is...can the lip tie cause her to have trouble talking?? She's almost 2 and only says momma, daddy and she babbles a lot. She is very smart and understands when you tell her something. She does what you tell her too. I'm just worried.

my niece only used to say a few words, then her second birthday passed and four months later I was a having a full convo with her. Im not sure if the lip tie would affect that but maybe she just needs a little more time.

@amberdaine, I hope so. I feel like she is so far behind. My friend's son is 19 months and repeats almost everything.

@ashley.n.dunn, she does fall lots. I just thought it was because moved into a house with hardwood floors

@ashley.n.dunn, when she smiles it is all bottom teeth. They said it was pretty tight too but we brush her teeth twice a day and they said that can loosen it some.

@ashley.n.dunn, my oldest daughter lives in Vine Grove with her dad. Schools are better there than where we were before.

@ashley.n.dunn, lol. Yeah. It's like being where I'm at. I go 10 minutes north and I'm in Scottsburg then 10 miles the other way I'm in Clarksville.
