@dreamermom, I wonder why yours is orange. Mine was orange flavored but it was clear.
@melodyabmeredith, yeah, I have PCOS and I'm insulin resistant... but I eat how I'm suppose to, so it's not really an issue!
I did it at 13 weeks! But that's because I have PCOS and the doctor was for sure I would have GD and I proved her wrong!
ugh! that sucks! hope it doesn't make you feel to bad! you got this !!!
@babymakes11, Mine was warm... but it's not bad... I just feel like crap taking in pure sugar! I rarely eat sweet, or drink sugary stuff... I don't like the way it makes me feel! 😓@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom,
@dreamermom Oh okay yeah that mid wife was slow but you will do fine because you know your body
They aren't horrible if they're served chilled my last one tasted like a flat sprite easy to chug lol
I had to do mine at 10 weeks. it was a little high so I had to do the 3 hour one 2 weeks later and I still have to do another one at 26 weeks even though I passed the other one fine.
Yeah @madisonmommy318, @kamriesmomma824, @asunaking15, ... the midwife I saw last time was an idiot... so I have to do it twice! She looked at my bmi and age, then decided that I obviously will become diabetic! 🙄😒 I'm super healthy! I eat healthier than most people half my size... and she never bothered to even ask about my eating or exercise habits, just assumed that because I'm not twiggy like her, that I'm unhealthy! 🙄 so I'll do the damn test, because I know I'll pass... I know by how I feel what my blood sugar is... and during pregnancy I check it often! So whatever... just makes me feel like crap the rest of the day! 😒because I don't eat sugar like this!
14 Weeks? seems a bit early. doctor must have his reasons Though. :)
I have PCOS too, and had to do two test while preggers. It sucked, and I almost didn't make it with the three hour test. I could stomach the stuff and felt sick the whole time. Now I found a supplement line that naturally helps balance blood sugar, and gives you energy. It is also safe to take while pregnant, and I will definitely be using it with my next pregnancy (if I have one).
