this might be a dumb question but how long do u stay in the hospital when u give birth?

We got there Friday at like 4am..... had him at 8am and we left Sunday at around 2.

Typically 2 nights after you give birth if you have a vaginal delivery with no complications. I gave birth at 12:09am the 26th and because it was technically the next day I had to stay two full days. If it was 11:59 I could of left the 27th. Lol, I was like damn! It's the doctors fault, I could of given birth the 25th but I had to wait a few minutes for him 😜

for me it was 2 days

no sleep for me either. that entire first week I may have slept 8 hours, the next week I slept around 12. needless to say, I was nearly delirious. haha it gets better though.

I stayed from Monday night around midnight (had her Tuesday at 3p.m) until Thursday around 3-4. I delivered naturally w/ an epidural. I could have went home Wednesday but I was in a lot of pain & they asked me if I wanted to stay another night & I said yeah. lol

@sammie20 all depends... with my first two (vaginal) my last i stayed 4 days (emergency csection)

I had my son on a Saturday 11 something at night. And didn't leave till Monday afternoon like 2ish but they did tell me I could go home 24h after I give birth. Which was late night Sunday. But they was like we prefer u to leave Monday because I had to get a few stitches down there lol but it's usually 24h after

baby born 905am on sunday left about 130pm monday

I was released after 24hrs. Baby passed all her test and I was doing great so they released me the next day

Had my daughter at 520 am on a Thursday and went home Friday afternoon

If a vaginal delivery, 2-3 days. C-section might be longer, depending. But usually 3 days there too
