Okay moms.. I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and I really want to breastfeed. I did change my mind but I really want to at least try. I'm just so nervous bc I know it's difficult and takes a lot of willpower and patience!! So, is there anything I need to get right now to prepare? I'm so clueless lol. And I really want to do the skin-to-skin and let her latch on her own when I first have her. Opinions on this also please!

@annaerandolph @lacyjaymedal1 yes even with a csection you still get your milk at the same rate as if you were to give birth vaginally... i had to have a csection with my last and colostrum came in right after and my milk came in 2 days later...

what if you have to have a C-section will the milk still come in as soon as the baby's born
be prepared to be sleepy. every time I breast feed I would fall asleep. never failed. I actually googled it and apparently it's normal.
also can get a pill from Dr that helps milk come in I took it before bed and woke up freaking out because I couldn't see my feet again lmao. so full.

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
I'm looking forward to that hour of skin to skin with my baby... even tho I'm formula feeding she said that it still needs to be done. I'm so excited. I really can't wait to next week!! 💙🍼👟👣
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
