For me, it's either taking an extra long hot shower, or doing my makeup. Doing my makeup is relaxing and it boosts my self confidence, which is always great! #mommytime

Honestly, when my fiance is home I go grocery shopping without the kids. lol the drive and walking around by myself is relaxing. or I wait till they are napping and I play a game or get all my chores done so when it's bed time I can relax lol

Мама двоих (младенец)

I would have a glass of wine from time to time when the baby goes to sleep, read a book, spend some extra time on my phone browsing the internet and on apps like mom life 😂 ,sitting down and having a cup of coffee and something sweet, even just taking an extra long hot shower or doing my hair and makeup is me time and it makes me feel better. One important thing all moms need to have is time to do something for themselves. As moms we get so distracted and busy doing things for our kids that we forget to do things for ourselves. Getting a mani/ pedi, your hair done, going shopping and buying a new outfit or new shoes for yourself can totally pick up your mood and make you feel like a beautiful woman .

Well, when my daughter go to sleep, what i do is have a glass of girly drinks like kinky drinks🍹reading a comic 📚or do sketch some fashion designed 👗... since it's been raining a lot and have a 2 month old baby, I usually stay in and out of trouble 😁

well my me time is when my parents come home and I ask if they can watch my girls so I can take a shower. I feel amazing after a hot shower and some music playing no kids crying or screaming for a while.

Glass of red wine and a long, hot bubble bath. My husband gives the best back and leg massages, too, anytime I need one.

I can never stress this enough, mommy breaks! Being a mom is a full time job. 24/7, 365 days a year, you get no holidays off, no days off, you only get paid in poopy diapers and kisses. Take a break. Ask your significant other to just give you an hour or even 5 minutes when you feel you are losing your mind. Ask a sitter, your mom, someone trusted so you can get a break. It's okay to be away from your a baby for a little bit. Go get a coffee. Go sit at the local McDonald's and listen to the nonsense of others moms. Don't feel like you have to constantly be at your child's beckon cry, everyday! just 6 days and 20 hours a week sometimes.

Moms need time too!

When my Husband gets home from work/finishes his workout, I make sure that he gets alone time with our baby, which gives me some "me" time. I won't lie, I still do chores but it's much more relaxing when I'm not watching the clock and waiting for baby to get fussy.

Also, taking a nice shower is very relaxing. Saturday and Sunday mornings, he'll let me sleep in and have breakfast alone. Then I get to get ready and actually do my hair/make-up.

Sometimes I'll nap with baby if I'm exhausted! That's always great!

В ожидании первенца

Here's a tip: get off of your phone! Drove me nuts when my ex sister-in-law was ALWAYS on her phone with a newborn baby.

Strangely for me it was going back to work. Being able to talk to other adults and focus on projects really helped. I love my son but being home all day was driving me crazy.

So my advice would be to get out of the house, without baby, wether it be work, school, or girl dates with your friends.

I have seven kids. I like to hide in the shower for 20 minutes when my husband gets home and take a double shot of rum while making dinner every so often. 😂
