When do they stop doing vaginal ultrasounds!? Like got far along!? With my son I went when I was four,five, and 6 weeks then didn't go back until 20 weeks so I don't know how long they tend to do them.

At the hospital I go to their policy is any earlier than 9 weeks they do both abdominal and vaginal scans and if you are more than 9 weeks along it's only abdominal. I'm sure it depends on the hospital though!

I only had one done with my daughter, 9 weeks, and it was because it was so early in my pregnancy. I had another ultrasound done at 12 and 19 and 22 weeks all those where normal.
They did a vag ultrasound until I turned 10 weeks from my experience.
It hurt Both times I had them done.
I never had one, but I thought they only did it the first ultrasound because the babe is so tiny
They did one at my 20 week appt but I get an abdominal ultrasound every appointment too
