I have literally been crying the past hour. Everyone that is super close knows I have been having the worst troubles breast feeding mark. He just screams the whole time. And has to be burped every 3 minutes and maybe eats the most 10 mins on every side. It's awful and exhausting. I have done everything from changing my diet cutting everything out, increasing my water intake, eating lactation boosting things and nothing has helped. I have thought maybe he was tongue tied or lip tied. I just sit and cry because I feel bad that I.m can't do what my body was meant to do and blame myself. I have done tons of research online and was reading somethings on issues with nipples. So today as a past resort I decided to use a nipple shield. To my complete amazement he has been nursing now one each breast for almost 30 minutes and NO CRYING at least on his part. Has anyone else had problems similar?

Love my nipple shield! Had the same problem but the dr gave me a medela shield to try and we still use it💜
Atleast i myself havent experienced it. but my friend wich her daughter is my goddaughter she did go through that same problem and her thing was the the baby just couldn't get the milk out regularly through the nipple until she got the nipple shield and she had the same result ! She never knew why besides that without it the baby just had trouble sucking the milk out even tho she latched on without a problem but it worked @guessfamily,
I had to use one, mine were premies so I had to change sizes..... we are now bfing and do not use a shield. Go mama for sticking to it!! I remember those days and they were hard @guessfamily
