Similac Sensitive or Enfamil Newborn to supplement with?
I've had bronchitis and the flu over the passed 2 weeks and my supply has gone down from being able to produce 1-2 extra meals a day, to not producing enough for my baby to eat. So while I work to get it up, I have to supplement. He vomits the Similac Sensitive every time though. I mix it with the breastmilk. Would Enfamil Newborn be better? He's 2months old.

@gabesmama have you ever done that before? I've heard about it, had a friend that donated. But for some reason I'm leery about it
You could also explore donor milk. There are a lot of mamas that have extra or are willing to pump for those that need it if formula isn't working. You can post on Human milk 4 Human Babies Facebook group in your area or eats on feets and ask for it or see if anyone near you offered extra
I actually do have the samples lol I have 3 Similac and 2 enfamil. Just not sure which one I should be using. I hate seeing him throw up 6oz of food.
You can actually get samples with the Enfamil company if you sign up they will provide you three different formulas 🙂 (newborn, gentleness, and infant)

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

@ahouse6592, I have struggled with low supply since the beginning and have been supplementing with donor milk for several weeks. I didn't use the Facebook group yet but got donations from women in my breastfeeding support group of more than 60 bags of frozen milk. If you're unsure, you can ask about lifestyle (smoke/drink), medications that they take, and their diet. The lactation consultant made a point of saying not to pay for the milk that it's strictly a donation and that the most I should do is offer to replace bags. I was definitely skeptical at first, but the benefits of having breast milk instead of formula definitely were worth it for me.
