Idk why circumcising boys is such a big deal. They can be healthy boys with or without the procedure done. Isn't that all that matters ? People are too nosy and opinionated.

I don't get it! like there's a billion reasons people are either for or against it. we were in the middle so we just left it alone. but I don't want you bringing it up or asking me constantly if I'm going to do it. that's like going up to a guy and asking them if they're cut or not.. how is that appropriate. @sarahbelle

i was in the same room when my son got circumcised and he didn't cry at all I think it's just the Parents Choice there's nothing wrong with having your own parenting ways and if she can't respect it oh well it's your baby not hurt as you did the right thing for your baby

Okay, they sometimes numb the baby. And usually it doesn't take care of all of the pain. When a baby doesn't cry it's not cause it didn't hurt it's cause the baby went into shock. The stats say it's more likely for a baby to die from circumcision than it is to contract any infection while you still have a foreskin. For me it's more of a human rights issue. Why do we subject babies to a cosmetic procedure that they can die from when you don't know if they want it done anyway. It's not "MY son's penis" it's "my SONS penis." The emphasis is important.

I totally agree that it's his penis, but until he came make decisions for himself it's up to me and his dad to keep him safe. if he wants the surgery when he's older I'll allow it, but at that point it'll be his choice @marliemacieowensmomma

That's exactly why I left my son intact. I've gotten a lot of heat about it too. But I feel better knowing that he will be able to do what he wants with his sex organ.

@jsco, the way I look at it, God put that skin there for a reason and who are we to just cut it off? And for what reason? To make it "easier" to clean? Not that hard to use soap and water and teach your child to clean. I have had people say shit to me as well like "oh you'll regret it" and "you better teach him to clean it well" like it's their business what my husband and I chose to do with our son's privates. Absolutely can not stand people. You don't see me running around yelling abuse at people for circumcising their child.

it sucks that it's one of "those" topics considering half of the population has a penis. @mommytoaiden
