Very frustrated....
My fiancé and I were coming up with names last night & we came down to 2 that we both like. Then here comes monster in law complaining "I don't like any of those names. Pick some more" so I didn't say anything but I definitely wanted to go off! She starts naming these ridiculous names (sorry if I offend anyone) like "Tripp" Who actually names their child that!?
Then we put on Facebook the two we picked to see what everyone thought and she keeps commenting the same name that's NOT an option!! Literally commented 5 times already 😒 and she's mad we won't let her pick our sons name... We're the ones who have to live with it. He's our son, NOT hers. She over steps her boundaries wayyyy too much & im so over it 😒

I hear you omg in law's can be a pain. My in laws are a bit mild, although they do voice their opinions im very bold when I know something is right I stand my ground. I don't back down(;

@rawwrdinoox, there is no talking to this woman. We both tell her all the time to back off. It's not sinking in lol or she just doesn't care.. but she has no say in our sons name. It's just getting annoying that she keeps bringing it up

my husband is a dream and doesn't let anyone step over my thoughts or decisions. whenever I say something and I stick to it, not only is it worth listening to but around family he watches me like I'm entering dangerous waters and is there to swoop in if I need back up 😂😂😂😂

@dreamermom, I learned my lesson on that lol. Idk why she thinks this is her baby... she actually said "it's my baby" she's crazy

Ignore her. The decision is up to you and your fiancé. End of story. Period. The end. If she doesn't like it, she doesn't need to be involved in the kids life.

That's why I don't tell anyone before we decide... I've asked for people to give name suggestions, but never revealed the names we were leaning toward... then I'm less likely to want to hurt someone! lol
