hungry? gas?

@andrewsmommy not hungry I'm feeding him right now. gas is a possibility I have given him gripe water and gas drops burped him good and bicycle kicks.

Awwww. Has he pooped? Gas drops can take a while to kick in.

@andrewsmommy I gave them to him 2 hours ago :/ and yeah he pooped too. I honestly think hrs overly tired at this point like he'll be in his Dockatot perfectly asleep for 10 minutes then wake up screaming bloody murder

Somethings bugging him. Maybe try another thing of gripe water. its not bad to keep giving.

have you guys been doing a lot today? when my daughter was about 6 weeks old on Christmas we were gone ALL day long, and when we finally got home she screamed for over 3 hours straight. I read that at that age so much unusual activity can over stimulate them and they just don't know what to do. so she was over stimulated and over tired. it was horrible

@growingmisscharley no that's what's so strange to me he slept wonderfully last night and we just hung out at the house today once 8pm hit all hell broke loose. he's now sleeping on my chest go figure

He's hungry. Give that child some rice cereal. Just half a teaspoon to thicken the milk. I promise you he will sleep. Make sure you get 2-3 burps out after he's done eating.

Google search PURPLE crying and colic. My son had colic and he would scream for hours every night. It was so, so frustrating. I would not put cereal in his bottle. There is a risk of aspiration when you put cereal in a baby's bottle and there is zero evidence that it helps baby feel fuller or sleep longer. In fact, research suggests that it interferes with the baby's cues that indicate fullness and can cause obesity later in life.

@ciraclesmiracle yes I agree I have no inclination at all to put cereal in the bottle. I've done enough research on it to know it's not a risk I wanna take. I don't mind the waking up to feed him what ducks is nights like this where you just watch the hours tick by and you start calculating how much caffeine you will need to help make it through the day lmao

I completely hear ya. It was so frustrating when my son was screaming for hours. It seemed like he was in pain, and I felt so helpless. You should also look up the symptoms of acid reflux. That's another possibility.

@babyshreiner16 thats so not good for a 1 month old..
