Saltines and lemon water was the only thing for me. And even then I just tried to get something in my stomach, I waited until I finally threw up and then I felt so much better!

If you can find watermelon it helps!

@kgguy616 I haven't tried lemon water yet. That's next on the list! Thank you so much!

Vitamin B6, crystallized ginger, and acupuncture worked best for me. Unisom is safe for pregnancy if you get severe nighttime nausea.

I'd say everyone and every pregnancy is different. My first baby was sour patch kids and this one was pineapple! Try different foods to see what helps you, but sour stuff has done the trick for me.

@spiralspeaker oh acupuncture is interesting. Where did you get it done?
Silvia·
@kirstin678 I'll have to try some sour candy. It's just so hard for me to eat anything that's not bland! Hopefully it works. Thank you!!

Local place on the island, Hooked On Acupuncture. All of the other home remedies - B6, ginger, crackers, hard candy, SeaBands, etc - helped some, but once I started going for weekly acupuncture treatments, everything changed! I could leave an appt and immediately eat an entire restaurant portion meal by myself and feel great. I'd have about 48hrs of zero nausea or vomiting, a few more days of being lightly queasy but manageable with the other remedies, then back to struggling with 24hr nausea until my next appt. Every body is different so the results might not be the same for you but it was a lifesaver for me! And I hate needles. I only tried it out of desperation and am so glad that I did!

@spiralspeaker That's amazing! I'd give anything to get relief like that! I've been taking B6, ginger capsules, using a magnesium spray and SeaBands. I'm going to have look for a place that does acupuncture around here (I'm in North Houston/The Woodlands area). Thank you so much for your suggestions!!

@sylvia3 You're welcome! I hope it helps. There should be lots of resources in your area. If you're on a budget, look specifically for a community acupuncture clinic where treatments are done in a group setting. They often have sliding scale rates.
