Omg! I'm at work and everyone is coughing and one person is getting over respiratory flu. I'm so freaked out right now. I was hospitalized with respiratory flu once. I have asthma and I'm 8 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I just turned 40 so I'm already high risk.

Im can't get sick. OMG! I think I might cry.

My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.

I told her we don't get the flu shot and she said he has to because I'm having a baby soon and that's what's best. Really?
