need some advice. I have a 3 day old baby who I'm breastfeeding but one of my nipples has a blood blister and is now bleeding also is soo sore, but its not dried and cracked so I've decided just to breast pump that boob and every other feed is bottle and the other feed is my other breast but now I have blood blisters on that breast, I've been told he's latching on fine but it always hurts and my boobs always feel sore and swollen. I'm using lanolin after every feed

thankyou, I hate having to express for him to feed out of bottle but I need to try and get my nipple to heal :( I'm determined to stick at it!!
Aww hun... its so horrible and painful. you can use lanolin as many times as you want. it soothes so much.. hang in there it does get easier... well done. by now some people would have given up....
also get a cabbage... pull the leaves off and put them under your arms even for 10 mins it helps with them being sore in general...weird i know.. lol xx

opinions about breast feeding while pregnant. the receptionist at my OB told me while making my appointment to start getting her off of the boob, because breast feeding causes your uterus to contract and can cause a miscarriage or preterm labor. any ladies breast feed your LO while pregnant and should I believe the receptionist?? my baby just turned 3 months on the 23rd .I give her breast and formula sometimes. any advice is appreciated👍
Ugh been sick for damn near two weeks and now I have a small cold sore on my lip! I've been using medicated lip balm for fever blisters/cold sores... Any other suggestions? 🤒
Maybe try nipple shields? Then you can still feed straight from the breast if you want to x
