Working moms. My friend just recently found out she was pregnant & works 4am. She hasnt gone to work the past two days cause she has felt nauseous and like complete shit. Can she get fired? Is there a way to make her be able to go to work better? What did u do?

I got fired while pregnant too lol but I only got to work for a month in my second trimester @_stephanie.g
@beanieboo, I got fired while pregnant, I started bleeding while working one day when I was about 4 weeks went to the hospital. I had to be in bed rest for a couple of days I had doctor and hospital notes and the wouldn't take it and fired me.. I know I could've done something to help me with that but I didn't do anything at all.
her boss is the owner. There's no HR she's everything lol @guesswhokt
I'm sure there has to be something out there legally that will protect her from losing her job. Women who are pregnant have a lot of rights that employers don't want you to know about. If she runs into any problems tell her to ask her boss for the phone number of their H.R, and I'm sure her boss will retract his/her words
@beanieboo She definitely could especially if its affecting her ability to work I think. I was sick every morning just throwing up. my boss said to stay home if I was just going to be in the bathroom.My Doctor gave me nausea pills after and felt so much better.
