Went to the OB today and they told me I'm low on Vitamin D. Has anyone experienced this and how has it affected your baby/pregnancy? I'm very scared now and can't stop crying because I heard it can be a risk for me to die while giving birth :(
@lalajen I had low vit d early in pregnancy I started take 5000 vit d pills once a week and it quickly went to normal.
@lalajen yeah, i just take calcium chews with vitamin d...
My doc just told me to take a vitamin d supplement along with my prenatal pill so I've done that my whole pregnancy and I'm doing alright!

Year of the boys?!
Hi everyone! So everyone around me who has had a baby this year or is expecting soon is having or has had a baby boy- me included, due August 31st :)
I've almost always been low on Vitamin D, it affects your cells rebuilding slowly, so it can cause headaches, depression, and keeps you from absorbing calcium as good as you should... just start taking 5000iu's of Vitamin D daily and you will be golden!
