My son hasn't pooped in 11 days! He's breastfed and doesn't seem to be constipated. Is this normal or should I give him something to make him poop?
Getting pooped on in the tub #momlife SN: I was taking pictures of him and I just happened to snap the picture at the same time .
Mommas I need advice. Kynton gets a super bad rash when he poops. From one poop and maybe 45 seconds of him being in that diaper turns his butt bright red and blisters. We only use Huggies and Pampers diapers. Could it be disposables that do this? The gel stuff mixing with his poop that creates the rash?? And should I try a few cloths to see if it helps? Or what do I do. He poops at least 2 times if not sometimes more a day. And it puts him in agonising pain. His Drs said don't worry but his Booty is always red, bleeding and hurts him.

I read babies can go up to two weeks. So maybe a few more days then call his dr?

Ok thank you ladies! @bentleysmomma, @mrssanderson, he doesn't seem uncomfortable at all but I was just thinking about it and I was like wow.. it's been quite a while since he's pooped lol

Yep! Still okay, as long as he's not uncomfortable/straining. He's probably growing and making the most of all the nutrients, so he's not making much waste. My son hasn't gone that long, but he has gone a week... the poop after that week, though, oh boy! It was a blowout!

Try taking a rectal temp, that usually stimulates a BM

When my baby did that I gave him 1 to 2 ounces prune juice mixed with 2 ounces water and it helped him get regular ...doc suggested that for constipation but I did it if my baby didn't poop for more than 3 days but it is normal for breast feed babies they can go up to 2 weeks without passing a stool ..

Also if you put Vaseline on a q tip and do as if your going to take a rectal temp but move it in circular motion it will help baby poop if constipated (if your daring enough).. but be prepared for lots of poop! Lol!
