I thought by me breast pumping it will help drain the milk out my breast not produce more .

That's my thing , I want to DRY MY MILK UP because my breast are hurting to bad 😩.... they too too sore .

Ok so that can drain the milk almost just by hot water I'll weather do that so they can leak and gone and dry up ! !

Just get that baby on those boobs as much as possible! It will help relieve you. My son ate constantly at that age and that's normal!

Are you full? Baby should be eating from you atleast every 2 hrs if not on demand. If you are over producing hand express. Have you tried a electric pump and or manual pump? You may be more successful at pumping since you just had a baby and are like bursting with milk.

Pumping is different for everyone. I unfortunately do not pump much milk when I do. This doesn't mean you have a lack of milk but as my lactation consultant told me, that your baby on your boob is very very different than a pump just trying to get milk out. I didn't pump until I was 3 months pp though, sometimes I wish I had sooner cause maybe I would if been more successful at it. Oh well.
