I did research and on this age you can not spoil your baby.so don't worry about it.🤗when mine is crying I pick her up and she is smiling and I can die for this smile 😘😘😘😘

I agree with @andrewsmommy, it depends. I say at one month old they're still so little they're pretty much crying because they need something or want the comfort if they're not colic. I think by 4 months would be a good idea to stop immediately rushing to baby when they start whining. Unless they are hurting or need something, they don't necessarily need to be held 24/7. I made that mistake as well, and though it's sweet that my son loves me so much it makes life extremely difficult at times. He doesn't really play for any length of time by himself, he constantly wants me and only me, and he'll be a year old next month. I wish that I would've taught him to self soothe more than I did and possibly let him cry it out at times where he was just being whiny. Because now when I try to let him cry it out it's just too stressful to try and continue anything that I'm doing and listen to all that, especially when I know nothing is wrong. Lol

Maybe try something for colic and see if it helps and try and let him cry for a min then two little by little try breaking him by doing minutes here and there and having daddy hold the baby to.

At 6 months it was sooo difficult to do anything or go anywhere cause he wanted me to hold him. i ended up having to let him just cry.

True but at some point they will except to get picked up for eveything. One thing I learned about always picking him up was it made it very difficult for other family to hold him. He would scream his lungs out if my mom or dad held him.

Mine had really bad colic when he was a baby. My fiancé thought he was just being a baby and wanted to be held but it was because no mater what he couldn't get comfortable. After about four month when he got rid of the colic he like being down and more. He also winged him self off at seven months and started putting himself to be with no trouble
