From my own experience I would say that you will just know.... which might not be too helpful. Haha. If you are leaking it won't be thick like discharge and it will constantly leak.

it's not think at all. whenever I move i feel like my underwear is getting wet. I just know some people get watery discharge so I don't know if it's one or the other lol @icingqueen22

Ok this is probably TMI but when I was at the last two months of my pregnancy I started to worry that I was leaking. Well it ended up being that my baby was pushing on my bladder and I was slightly peeing my pants.... pregnancy is beautiful. :) That could be it. But if you are worried I would talk to your doctor/midwife. It made me feel better even though I was pretty much peeing myself. Haha

@jsco smell it, sorry its gross but urine and amniotic fluid smell different, it smells kind of sweet, nothing like urine... second lay down for atleast 5-10minutes as flat as you can then get up as quick as you can, if it is your fluid you will leak as soon as you get up (i suggest like your bed and roll off and stand up as quick as you can making sure to hold on to something)
