I'm thinking about testing out peanut butter with my son. First on his skin! At what age do you think it's appropriate to feed your baby peanut butter?
my son LOVES peanut butter haha. he's almost two and unless I give him a peanut butter sandwhich with every meal, or put it in his oatmeal, he won't eat haha. he's going through a picky stage.
ideally around 9 months. after 6 months but before a year old
@mdomke22, omg, I live on peanut butter which I'm sure my son will like it as I still breastfeed him, so he prob gets a taste of it hahah... thank you for the info :)
@andrewsmommy, unfortunately he doesn't have any teeth yet so I haven't given him any crackers yet.
@allyk.xmommy, I'm assuming he didn't have a reaction and loved it?
I waited on peanut butter till close to a year old but I think there really isn't a time frame anymore....it's kinda a old wives tale. ands believe it or not my daughter HATES peanut butter lol idk what kid doesn't like it 😂😂
The new age is 6 months. If you've already given him plain crackers put a little scoop on the cracker and see from there. I dont think it'll react on his skin.
when my son was born they had me eat pb bc I breast fed. but I then again introduced it to him I think around 10-11 months.
At what age did you first give your kids peanuts or peanut butter!?
Do you think a peanut butter and cream cheese sandwich would be good?

Another one is frozen banana bites😍
Bananas with peanut butter and cover with chocolate😍😍😋

Mmm homemade peanut butter cookies :)
glad to have come across this. my son is almost 9 months and he has 2 teeth so i'm going to put a tiny bit on some crackers. hopefully he likes it.
