My induction is scheduled Monday. I'm trying to help the process so the induction is not too long. I've eaten mango (since I'm allergic to pineapple), have been going up and down stairs, I'll be testing my breast pump to check the guard sizes, and now I'm having red raspberry leaf tea.... anything I'm missing besides seducing my husband (that's coming 😁)

Ohh that is good to know. I hope I get something like that. My midwife is thinking the process could be long but it's a different process for everyone!

I didn't know I'd need to be induced (when I was at least) but I guess I got preeclampsia in my last week of pregnancy, and once Madi didn't fully pass her biophysical profile scan at 40 + 1, my BP was high, then got an NST at hospital and it just kept climbing! got induced that night, I only had to have cervadil to kickstart labor (no pitocin, yay!)

I ate pineapple, drank a cup or two of the tea per day, lots of water, bounced/ hip cirlces on an exercise ball for 20 min at a time, had sex, walked stairs, nipple stimulation (although it takes a lot to actually help,) and ate spicy food. nothing is actually "proven" besides the prostaglandins in semen softening cervix, so make sure to have sex! try to get as much sleep and rest/downtime as you can....u won't have much of it soon!

And when you go up the stairs, try and skip steps. Who knows if any of this really works, but worth a shot 😊
