I got a tattoo on my ribs and that's supposed to be the most painful spot. it really didn't hurt at all. it's all going to depend on you! if you want a place that'll hurt the least try a spot where there isn't bone so close to the surface

@jsco, okay I really wanted it above my ankle but I have no far there at all you don't even have to press in to feel my bone so I'm thinking of going with right above my hip cause I got quiet a bit of fat there lol

it's just a really annoying feeling. if it's small and won't take long I'd just go for it! if that's where you want it to be.

I have a big one right above my shoulder blade and I didn't think it hurt at all. But I also have a high pain tolerance

wrong advice i have 10 tattoos and the most painful places tend to be where theres more fat at. i have some on places where there is bone and it didnt hurt nearly as much as you think it might just more of a hot feeling when going over bone.
