How old was your baby when you started giving them soup, mashed potatoes, ect ?

I gave him small pieces of chicken carrots and parsnip with the broth and sometimes i out pastina inside

I have tried mashed potatoes she loves them

do you give her baby oatmeal? what about starting by making it a little thicker? as long as what your giving her is small enough to swallow without chewing she should be okay

she takes the teething cookies like they're nothing lol she loves them too. the only thing is she has no teeth yet 😑😑 @sk216

yes! and i was waiting for her to get more teeth. she got the two bottom ones at 7 months and i was waiting for something on the top to come in but they still havent. she was just getting to impatient. she was showing me she really wanted to try other stuff so i just had to slowly start giving her tiny bits of stuff. they sell teething cookies. start with those so you can see that they can handle chewing and handling bigger foods

like @allyk.xmommy i waited til 10 months but technically you can start at 6m

6 months when we started every other food.

I think 10 months. but I was terrified to give him anything other than baby food at first.
