Travelling up to watford tomorrow afternoon, any tips of travelling with a 12 month old?? Furthest we've gone with him is 1 1/2 hours away, this is 5 1/2!! 😩
@holliesinead, aha if we lived that close we'd be there all the time! Lol OH loooooves HP x
@noshinxoxo, tah Hun. Have downloaded loads of Thomas on my tablet going to pack snacks etc. Have to leave afternoon so am not going to let him sleep on the morning. Fingers crossed he'll be out for an hour or so in the car xx
@holliesinead, no Hun I'm from Cornwall. Travelling up for Harry Potter studios ☺️☺️ X
Well my little one is 4 months and we've been doing 5 hour journeys since he was 2 months. At this stage we just plan to leave reeeeaalllyyy early or really late so it's bedtime lol and if we can't then once nap is done we hit a service station, tire him out and then hit the road again. At 12 months there's going to be tv shows he watches and toys he loves so plan to have his longest nap of the day in the car and once he wakes keep making headway by keeping him distracted with shows and toys and minute you see him get cranky hit a service, take a break and then get back on the road. With a child a 5 hour journey takes 6 hours minimum. We used to be able to do Luton to Newcastle is 4 hours flat WITH a stop and now it's minimum 5 hours.
I love HP as well I grew up with them being filmed near my house and hearing it all happen and I just love the films! I've been 3 times 😂🙈 x
