Not at all. I HATE when my babydaddy buys our son unnecessary shit he doesn't need right now or wont wear for a while. He just bought him some Jordans he wont fit until summer

oh man i hate that. My dad and step mother ask me all the time what my daughter needs I tell them diapers or a gift card will do but no instead they buy her clothes that are 4t 5t and she is only going to be 1. 😒

You have to think it's just money if he was excited about the jacket you should let him buy it. I have clothes for my daughter for 24 months plus and her dad bought them when I was pregnant still.

You have to let him buy and waste money on the baby because it's his baby as well :/

If he gets excited over something stupid that's great just think of how many dads don't give a shit about their kids. Plus it's $40 it's not a huge amount of money

I'm a money saving momma and I will definitely say no to something so expensive. I wait until there are coupons/sales and buy then even if it won't fit my son. I just don't like letting a bunch of money hang in the closet when my son needs diapers and other things. When I get a really good deal instead of looking at something and saying damn that was $50 I could have used on diapers, I now say wow I got that for $10 and I'm proud! Don't tell bad for wanting to save money, but it doesn't hurt to spoil your baby (responsibly) every once in a while lol
