I'm a FTM and I am terrified breast feeding won't work for me ... is it okay to have formula on hand just in case ? And what brands do you recommend

I am signed up for state assistance so possibly not purchasing it outta pocket unless I need to for some reason

be careful in just giving your baby formula when you want to breastfeed. for the first bit your breasts need every bit of stimulation they can. try for at least 40 days before going to formula. I'm not trying to say formula is bad but just make sure you give breastfeeding a good shot. here are some tips for how to start a good supply. it helped me so much!
