My daughter has started hitting herself in the face when she gets mad and I was wondering has anybody else's little ones done this? I do spank her but only when she gets in the dogs water/food and when she hits me, but I have never hit her anywhere near the face only the butt.

most kids grow out of it. my step sons are 3 and almost 6 and they still do that along with throwing them selves on whatever is closest to them simply because you told them "no"

My son does it . He bangs his head and hits himself .

My son did that for a while. Sometimes he'll bang his head into the wall. His Dr said its normal
