I wish we could post videos. I recorded my son coughing cuz its bad and we aren't getting any help from ALL the things…

@karstenal humidifier, baby vicks on chest/back/feet, saline in his nose then use the bulb syringe (even if he fights it i know it sounds mean but hold his head and suck the boogers out) the nose frida works better too but it can be pricey, if the cough is really bad it could be croup (wrap him up in a blanket and take him outside for a little while) tylonol for the pain front the cough

@karstenal after reading your post i see youve tried most of that so idk momma have you tried little remedies cough medicine? or any other cough medicine

Depends on what the cough sounds like. My son has had a loose wet cough and rattle for about 3 weeks. It'll go away in its own time. Babies are so used to being warm in mama's belly that the first cold snap can really be a shock to their systems. A dry or barky cough could be more serious. If you notice his lips turning blue during a coughing fit, take him in immediately. Unfortunately, besides the things you have already tried, you can't do much for a baby cold except wait it out.

Yup I've got a cool mist humidifier and I diffuse breathe from DoTerra in it, Vicks on feet, tried that cough medicine(granted only once- worth a try again), I use saline drops and both bulb and nose Frieda. @karstenal, that's exactly how my son sounds. It's been like this for almost 3 weeks now. Just wait it out. If he runs a low fever, try to refrain from treating it until it gets closer to 100 F bc a fever is the body's way of fighting sickness and infection 😃 we don't give Tylenol unless the fever is 99.8 F or higher.
