It's should my friend drives and impala and she has a graco extend too fit rear facing and that's bigger than this one. She still has lots of room too.

@christamoore2012, that's not what I'm asking. I'm asking if it fits well in a small car while it's in rear facing position.

According to a certified car seat tech it's great for rear facing.

Yeah I have a small car, && my car doesn't have back air bags because it's older ..

@josiahsmommy91815, well that's not really my concern... forward facing before 2 isn't an option for us as it's the absolute safest option. Just want to know if it's a good fit RF in a small car.
