Adoption is usually pretty expensive depending on the agency you go through, also can depend on the age of the child you're adopting. The process is very in depth as well. We have servers family friends that adopted kids and it was quite a lengthy ordeal, but they couldn't be happier now.

She made a post about possibly giving her twins for adoption and after talking it over with my significant other, we decided there would be no harm in emailing her. I've highly been considering adoption. To those who have considered it or gone through with it, how did you tell your SO and family?
It's usually cheaper if you go from foster to adopt than it is to adopt. But ik we have adopted in our family and one child took three years and we didn't get to pick the child. They chose for them and the next because she was "special needs" we got her in 6 months. This was from China. And then I have a cousin who has been trying to adopt for 6 years now and they both have spent over 30,000. I heard of you go threw foster then adopt it's about 2,000. We are doing the foster and possible adopting depending on the agency goal with the child
