Hi guys , question : 6 months postpartum still breastfeeding only twice a day my son takes formula mostly and eats solids . Anyway I just started my 1st i guess real period can I get pregnant. Not trying to no time soon . Do u think if I starting back pumping regularly my period would go away lol but seriously . I've always had bad periods and am not ready for it to come back

you can get pregnant while brest feeding. that's definitely an old wives tale!
Even if you start back, I don't think you'll be able to avoid your period. Lol. Would be nice though! & You can definitely get pregnant. I'm surprised your doctor or midwife hasn't already put you on birth control.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
So I thought I was starting my period. I woke up this morning with tiny cramps nothing major. I then had to use the bathroom and I was spotting. It has since went away and I hope it stay away. My last period was Dec. 28 and I should've came on Jan. 25th but nothing.

So I'm supposed to start my period today and I took a test with fmu and it came back negative :( really bummed.. I just hate how I have to struggle to get pregnant. Everyone seems to get pregnant so quick I just don't understand :((

@babybue16, she asked but I said no because I was breastfeeding exclusively so I'll definitely get back on now not ready for another one any time soon
