Just speaking for my heart. I feel that Society wants women to believe that breastfeeding is so impossible to do specially for the new Generation. I had friends tell me Oh you won't last or that it hurts so bad don't even try it or you are going to have saggy boobs. It makes me sad when I heard that some women don't even want to at least try breastfeeding. My son is currently 4 months old and I still have friends and family members that come up to me and say "wow you have such a good baby" or "I don't ever hear him cry". I questioned it too, but Then I started researching more about breastfeeding and how it effects our babies. what I found was so amazing because breastfeeding shows our little ones that they are not alone in this big world, they feel the mommy's dedication, commitment and sacrifice, they grow trust, they have bonding time with mommy, it's 100% healthy, It gives them the vitamins they need, it shows them that you care and most importantly LOVE. Research shows that once a baby feels trust and love they grow to be smarter, happier are less likely to become followers. Not trying to judge anyone but my goal is to inspire women. We just tend to forget how God created this earth and we depend so much on man stuff. I just feel like the Government want to enable humanity just so that we can make them rich into buying there products such as formula. why do you think babies get so colicky or that some women need to change their formula. it don't make sense right? I could just go on and I'm not here to offend any women. and if I did I apologize.
@ciraclesmiracle I understand for some mommies who do need to use formula, I'm mostly speaking on those who will not even try it. As for the colic, my baby also had bad colic when he was born but my doctor educated me that there are some foods that I should avoid because it is causing my baby to have colic. as soon as I change my diet he was fine. Food we eat now in this day and age is all manipulate therefore I feel that it's the patients, sacrifice, and discipline you invest in your baby. however I totally respect everything you said. I am happy to know you breastfeed. 💗
yasssss i agree about the people shocked about breastfeeding many people were amazed at how well my son & were doing with breastfeeding....i tell anyone that ask that it wasn't easy but i wss determined to get it right....i enjoy the time i share with feeding my son & hope to encourage other mothers to at least try don't count yourself out until you've wasted all your options
@serenemom yes! Oh and it also reduces your chances of ever having breast cancer. 😉
I mostly agree with you. I love breastfeeding. It was difficult at first, but now it's the easiest and most natural thing ever. I love not having to wash bottles, worry about running out of formula powder or get up at night to make a bottle. However, I do think it's a personal choice that's not for everyone. Some mothers find it stressful and don't enjoy it, so it's better for those mothers to formula feed. Also, my son had terrible colic and reflux from birth to about 3mo and he never had anything but breastmilk, so it's not always formula in that case.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
